2008 Liberia Mission Trip

            
2008 Liberia Mission Trip - Detroit East District has embraced the covenant relationship with our sister district in Liberia in a face-to-face expression of faith.  The mission team consists of Amanda Graham from Eastpointe: Immanuel UMC; Angie Hart from Warren: First UMC; Ken Dowell from Beverly Hills UMC; Rev. Mel Leach, pastor of Fraser: Christ UMC; and our District Superintendent, Rev. Duane Miller.  They have returned from Monrovia and Kakata-Farmington River Districts after the April 19 - May 3, 2008 trip.  The main focus was the building of a district parsonage in the Kakata- Farmington River District for Rev. J. Albert Barchue so his wife and children can live with him on the district.. Additional information and photos from team members are available:
